Okay but what if like, while Splinter was gone avoiding his children and being negligent one of them entered brumation/hibernation? And like, that’s what drives Splinter into the Hidden City for the first time, to search for a doctor for his son?

And like, what if it’s a big wake-up call for him? And he realizes he could actually lose his family? And Raph barely talks to him for like a week afterward because he’s so angry???

…I have complicated feelings about Splinter’s parenting. 😅

So in one of the RP text games I play Donnie on, he's kinda sorta gotten on the space fae's Wanted list so while Leo's taking part in the Grand Wild Hunt, Dee and Mikey have opted to snoop around a suspicious shipping company for some intel and have to ditch the usual colors and gear. They attempt to pose as the sons of some rich family looking for a fancy gift for their step-mom's birthday but the digital dice were not very cooperative for their performance rolls so no one has taken their very carefully crafted roles very seriously. XD; They still however come off as silly rich teenagers Doing Things so manage to skate by enough to get into the secret areas of the shipping company that I guess happens to be run by space mafia... Also loaded with security drones and golems! So the reasonable thing to do is hack them to give them clearance, right?

...maybe too well. XD; 3 Nat 20s later, Donnie's coming home with some new friends I guess....
